Week of 10/21

Some exciting news to report. Mr. J and I have completed our training on the climbing wall and in a few weeks we will begin climbing with grades 1-5.



This week in Mr. J's class

Monday-Fitness testing with 3-5 and team building with K-2
Tuesday-Fitness testing with 3-5 and team building with K-2
Wednesday-Fitness testing with 3-5 and team building with K-2
Thursday-Fitness testing with 3-5 and team building with K-2
Friday-Fitness testing with 3-5 and team building with K-2



Mrs. Cook's classes will be doing

Monday- grades 1-5 with be playing survivor (which is a team building game)
Tuesday- grades 1-5 with be playing survivor (which is a team building game)
Wednesday- grades 1-5 with be playing survivor (which is a team building game)
Thursday-grades 1-5 with be playing survivor (which is a team building game)
Friday-grades 1-5 with be playing survivor (which is a team building game)

5th grade remember to bring in a quote about teamwork, or that is inspirational or motivational to class Tuesday or Wednesday. Make sure to have your name, the quote and the name of the person who said the quote.


Even though it is becoming colder, make sure still stay active. You can also work on your skills of playing catching, try to take a family walk at the track in highland park or play creative games to get your heart rate up.


Also this week, we hope to post some pictures of what is going on in P.E. class

Week of 10/14


Hope everyone had a nice three day weekend.

In 3rd through 5th grade students will be finishing up fitness testing with Mr. J and start team building.
Mrs. Cook's classes will be working on team building and starting to play survivor.

In Mrs. Cook's classes

Monday- No School!
Tuesday- Polyspot game and fitness activites
Wednesday- Polyspot game and fitness activities
Thursday- Survivor
Friday- Survivor and polyspot game

Friday-  Fee-Alvarez, Goldkind and Sagat pacer test



I hope everyone is still taking advantage of the beautiful weather. Fall is a great time to get outside and play catch, go for a walk/ run, or play with friends outside.
